Beach Middle School cross country teams finish second in big meet

The Beach Middle School cross country teams had two very successful meets recently.

Last Wednesday, the team traveled to Tecumseh for their first meet of the season and 25 runners met or surpassed their goal for the race, according to information from the school.

On Saturday, the teams traveled to the New Boston Huron Invitational and both teams finished second, bringing home trophies.

Among those scoring for Beach were: Jesse Jacobusse, Ellie Domain, Clara Nelson, Sydney Matusik, Anna Vanneste, Ayla Raye-Leonard, Caroline HirthJoshua Kowalski, Cullen Lindsay, Liam Heaney, Cole Phillips, Connor Gilbreath, Jack Pedlow, and Zach Hinderer, according to school officials.

The teams will compete next in the Jackson Invitational on Friday, Sept. 21.
