(Chelsea Update would like to thank Dave Brinklow, Kim Eder and Pennie Ward

7th grade blue
It was another match right down to the wire as the 7th grade blue volleyball team took on Tecumseh at home Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs won the first set 25-18, lost the 2nd set 24-26 and lost the 3rd 21-25. Despite the loss, the team put together their best team play of the season with many bump-set-spikes and some great volleys.

Sierra Suntheimer had a big night serving 16 points including many aces. Megan Boughton and Riley Monahan each served 6, Emilee Underwood and Mya Purdy each had 3 and Madi Kay had 2.

8th grade gold
The 8th grade gold volleyball team traveled to Saline yesterday, winning the first 2 sets to win the overall match.

Erin Dusenbury led the way with an amazing 13 serves in a row. Sage Barney and Kristina Skiotys also served well. Reese Johnson and Lily June played aggressive at the net to help the lady Bulldogs beat the Hornets.

8th grade blue
The 8th grade blue volleyball split with Tecumseh 16-25, 23-25 , 25-13 Wednesday.

Mya Spadafore and Tess Wheeler were strong servers for the night. Belle Pustay and Breigha Vowels played strong defense in back row getting the passes to the setter. Amelia Robinson stayed strong at the net. McKenna Fletcher, middle and setter Rachel Hein had some good kills at the net.

Sophia Tolliver and Emily Hayes played front middle and played strong at the net. Every game, I see improvement and implementing their skills into game play.
