Welcome Angie Walls to the Chelsea Farmers Market on Saturday. She’s the new assistant market manager, whom you will find running the children’s booth on Saturdays, selling market mementos, or doing any number of tasks to keep the market going.

Angie grew up in Carmel, Indiana and attended Ball State University.

“During my time there I worked for Recreation Services including a role as camp counselor every summer,” said Walls. “I graduated with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.”

Walls spent the next two decades working for Life Time Fitness. She spent 10 years in Colorado opening clubs and became a regional manager.

“I loved every minute of running kids and family programming and training other leaders to run successful summer camps, events, birthday parties, fitness classes, and more,” she said.

It was her spouse’s family who brought her to Michigan.

“I’m a city girl living out in the country, and spaces like Chelsea allow me these moments of community and connection,” said Walls, who enjoys running, yoga, camping, live music, and basically any adventure that involves being outside, seeing new things, and meeting new people.

“I’m excited to be a part of this market space where we can come together to support each other both as neighbors and business allies,” she said.
