Beach Middle School 8 Blue football beats Jackson

8 Blue
The 8th grade blue football team beat the Jackson Vikings Tuesday night by a score of 20-6.

The offensive line dominated in the 2nd half, especially behind Drake Lockman and Nick Vosters. This strong push allowed Regan Plank to score 3 touchdowns and Collin Tailford to add a 2-point conversion.

The Dawgs forced four fumbles with Plank, Vosters, Samuel Woodard and Ethan Racine all recovering one each.

Keegan Montgomery had a strong performance leading a forceful front 7, and Mason Poulter had several devastating hits.

7 Blue
The 7th grade blue football team lost to Jackson Tuesday night.

The team had some hard runs by Ethan Povlich and Ethan Collins behind the blocking of Daniel Martin and Carson Freeman.

Strong defensive plays were made by Indiana Hurst and Brian Tillman.

7 Gold
The 7th grade gold football hosted Pinckney and lost 46-6.

Zack Sing flew around the field on defense and Calvin Decker made some good plays on defense in the 2nd half.

Richard Montoye had the lone touchdown of the game on a 70-yard scamper.

8 Gold
The 8th grade gold football team lost a tough battle against the Pinckney Pirates Tuesday night.

Braden McKenzie had a great catch on offense.

Luke Anstead helped lead the way, on defense flying around all night. Keegan Van Batavia made a huge tackle for loss.

Max Herter made a big play for an interception that he returned for a touchdown. Kanon Kajander, Nando Hermosillo, Jack Johnson-Chasteen, and Jacob Sisler all added great additional performances.
