Owen Brown’s 9 points and Adam Hauser’s eight points led a second half comeback against Saline Thursday yesterday giving the 7th Grade Blue Basketball team its second win of the season.  Down 20-11 going into the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs outscored the Hornets 13-1 to take the victory.

Ryan Spadafore’s defense and Justin Heim’s rebounding also play big in the win.

The 7th Grade Gold Basketball team lost to Saline Thursday night by a score of 26-16. Patrick Kelleher scored 6 points, Sam Michael had 5, Ross Stofflet, Louie Guthre, and Shane Nold each had four.

The 8th Grade Blue Basketball team lost Thursday night to Saline by three points. It was a great game on many levels. The guys would like to thank our students who showed their support.

Playing well were Quinn Starkey, Hunter Neff, Noah French, Tyler Emmert and Leo St.Amour.

It came down to the final play, but the 8th Grade Gold Basketball team fell to the Saline Hornets 22-20 Thursday night. The team was down 5 with 2 minutes to go; but they kept their cool and scored 3 points to bring them within 2 with 1 minute to go.

As the clock ran down, they were able to hold the Hornets from scoring again. They put up multiple chances to try and tie the game but the ball just wouldn’t drop. Hunter Lay, Griffin Bell, and Evan Vaughn led the team in scoring.

Nick Christian, Holden Monica, Nate Caister, and Cooper Mattson played great defense all game long.
