Beach Middle School cross country, volleyball recap

On Sept. 27, the Beach Middle School Cross Country Team won both the boys and girls races at the Chelsea Invitational.

Most runners on the team had their fastest race of the season and many walked away with medals.

Individuals that stood out for the boys were Louie Guthre who dropped 1:20 off of his time and Brendan Maguire who dropped 55 seconds.

Three girls dropped more than a minute off their time as well. They were Myranda Montoye, Shelby Hay, and Kennedy Parker.

The 7th grade Blue Volleyball Team fought hard but had a rough outing on Saturday losing 7 matches at the 7th Grade SEC Volleyball Tournament held at Bedford.

Morgan DeYoe led the way with outstanding serving including several aces throughout the tournament.

Other outstanding play was turned in by Olivia Beauchamp, Riley McGuffin, Cassie Sutch, Cassidy Tokarski, and Allison Hale.
