Beach Middle School volleyball recap from Thursday

The 8th grade blue Bulldogs fell to Monroe Thursday night at home, losing all three sets.

Skylar Staton did an awesome job setting in the first game. Stephanie Dark and Madeleine Kennedy had 3 service points each.

The 8th grade gold Bulldogs won against Lincoln in two of the sets on Thursday night, Tori Walz had multiple spikes during every game. Lindsey Atkinson had some incredible saves using one arm, her serving was spot on, her best game of the season. Karie Reiber had consecutive serves that were not returned.

During the Saline game, the girls won only one of the three sets, but put up a good fight only losing by two points in the other two sets. Ali Muchler was awesome cheering on the team during all the games. She had a very successful game with serves and sets. Maddie Kemp also had several serving runs and spikes.

The 7th grade Blue Volleyball Team played tough last night but lost all 3 games to Monroe, 20-25, 23-25 and 15-25.

Allison Hale led serving 8 points, Morgan DeYoe and Ciena Ratliff each had 4, Kiersten Anstead and Kelsey Weinreich each had 3, and Marianna Carpenter, Lilly Caister, Cassidy Tokarski, and Abby Shore each had 1.
