Beach Middle School X-C runners improve each meet

The Beach Middle School Cross Country teams ran extremely well at the SEC Jamboree #3 held at Saline High School.

Almost all of the runners who participated ran season best times or achieved their personal record.

The boys “varsity” group placed 5th out of 8 teams, while the girls varsity placed 5th out of 9 teams. The girls reserve group placed 4th out of 6 teams.

Individually, for the boys, Evan Muchler ran 54 seconds faster than his previous best time.

Ethan Kapolka dropped his time by 15 seconds and had a strong finish.

For the girls, Madeline Collins PRed by 2 minutes and 24 seconds and was the number one Chelsea girl in the reserve race.

Also, Caitlin Busch improved her best time by 54 seconds.

The coaches are proud of the competitive spirit of the teams.
