“Our doubles played big today, sweeping all four flights,” said varsity coach Matt Pedlow.

Two doubles came back in the second set after being down 5-2 to win 5 straight and take the victory, he said. “Hannah (Moore) and Madison (Rabbit) really clicked those last few games, setting each other up for easy finishes. They’re becoming a nice doubles team,” the coach said.

Erin Koch picked up a big win at singles for us at 4 singles. “She played a very smart match today and picked up her first win in her first match this year,” Pedlow said.

It was very, very windy today and cold, the coach said, adding, “The girls all played tough and struggled with lobbing- luckily our doubles teams were playing quite aggressive and took the net from their opponents and scored some easy points.”
