The Chelsea Lacrosse Association is seeking a head coach for the junior varsity and middle school boys’ Lacrosse teams along with assistants at all levels for the upcoming 2018 spring season.
Head Coach Responsibilities Include:
- Oversight for all phases of the development and implementation of the boys’ junior varsity or middle school lacrosse program
- Help prepare and implement training program and practice plan for the season
- Plan, conduct and attend all practices & games
- Meet with assistant coaches on a regular basis
- Coaches work closely with the Varsity head coach
Qualifications:
- Playing experience/previous coaching experience
- Possess strong technical skills knowledge
- Strong leadership skills (ability to establish rules, create positive team culture, etc.)
- Outstanding communication skills (team/player/parent expectations, coaching philosophy, etc.)
- Ability to establish positive relationships with student-athletes and within the lacrosse community
- Ability to motivate and inspire players while being a role model on and off the field
- Willingness to prepare the boys for the varsity level
- Candidate must pass background check
