Chelsea Kiwanis Club Thanks the Community for Support

Courtesy photo. Chelsea High School Key Club and Interact Club conducted a fundraiser bottle drive and collected and redeemed more than 13,000 returnable cans and bottles, donated by generous community members. Proceeds were presented to Alpha House. (l-r), Interact club’s Riley Scritchfield, Alpha House Director Ellen Schulmeister, Key Club President Emma Frederiksen, and Interact Club’s Aaron Zivsak.

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

Chelsea Kiwanis was pleased to take part in last weekend’s Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce‘s Lotsa Luck Pop-Up Shop and Scavenger Hunt.

They appreciate the community members who stopped by to purchase a can or two of our Gourmet Mixed Nuts. Our second annual sale is coming to an end. There are just a few cans left. The club will offer the remaining stock at Chelsea’s Farmer’s Market, which begins online on March 29.

Car seat emergency identification stickers will also be available free of charge from the Farmer’s Market online.

The Ann Arbor Kiwanis Thrift Sale is well stocked, and plans to open Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
