(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with businesses that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.)

The Arctic Breakaway is located on the second floor of the Arctic Coliseum. It is both a restaurant and a sports bar offering everything from pizzas to steaks.

“It’s a premier restaurant that is making a name for itself by providing good service, good food and good fun,” said David Fensch, general manager of The Arctic Breakaway. “Menu items include Cheesy Fettuccine Alfredo, Grinders, Blue Cheese fries, Great Burgers, Ravioli Florentine or drop in on Fridays for our awesome hand-carved Prime Rib.”

The restaurant has been around since 2000. There is also banquet space in two separate rooms that can hold 35 guests as well as a private room that holds 95 guests.

Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce logo“Have a great meal while watching sports on any of our 20 TVs or watch our local teams compete on the ice,” said Fensch, who suggests keeping tabs on Arctic Breakaway’s Facebook page for entertainment and specials.

“Having our business in Chelsea is great,” he said. “What a great home feeling, and everyone knows one another.”
