(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with businesses that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce. This week it’s WellBridge of Pinckney.)

WellBridge of Pinckney is just 13 miles from Chelsea, which is one of the reasons it is a member of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce. It is located at 664 S. Howell Street in Pinckney.

“It offers a unique option for post-hospital rehabilitation and nursing care,” said Julie Ryan RN, CCM and Vice President of Business Development for The WellBridge Group. “We are very excited about our sixth facility in Pinckney. We know that local residents who have undergone surgery and other medical treatment will thrive in this spa-like atmosphere of healing and wellness. We are privileged to be a part of this vibrant and growing community.”

The rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers offer a lower-cost option for patients who need higher acuity medical care or rehabilitation than can be provided in a hospital setting and will return patients back to their homes quickly with appropriate care and follow up.

WellBridge of Pinckney has 80 private suites that include private European-style showers as well as ten semi-private suites. It also offers the Fresh Bistro, room service, a full-service salon and spa and massage therapy.

Physical therapy services offer an Anti-gravity treadmill, biofeedback, and electromyography.

The WellBridge Group is a Michigan-based company with six state-of-the-art centers located in Brighton, Novi, Romeo, Rochester Hills, Fenton, and Pinckney.
