The last two weeks have been very successful for the Chelsea Volleyball Team. The team currently has a record of 34-11-3 and is ranked 10th in Class B.
The girls secured the SEC White Championship defeating Tecumseh 3-0 with scores of 25-19, 30-28, 25-20.
The program pitched in to raise money for the Volley For The Cure event held at Dexter through selling T-shirts to the school and community. We would like to thank all those that purchased T-shirts and helped in raising money for breast cancer research and awareness.
The team swept Dexter 3-0, completing an undefeated SEC White campaign. The scores of the match were 25-16, 25-21, and 25-22.
The team honored our seniors on Oct. 22 when they took on the Fowlerville Gladiators at home.
Our six seniors have been great representatives of Chelsea Volleyball and have had a big impact on the program. Olivia McCalla, Savannah Steele, Ashley Brooks, Taylor King, Morgan Matusik and Emma Hess played their last dual match at Chelsea High School.
The team swept Fowlerville 3-0 and met another one of their team goals, in going undefeated at all of their home matches this season. The scores were 25-17, 25-11, and 25-12.
