Zagat, a national restaurant rating service, has honored Common Grill for the second time by including the downtown restaurant in its Top 10 restaurant rankings in the Metro Detroit area.
Common Grill was chosen as No. 4 for 2013 and was in the top 10 in 2011.

Craig Common, owner of the popular restaurant on Main Street, said “it’s fantastic. I couldn’t do it without my staff. It validates all of what we’re trying to do here,” he said Thursday afternoon.
In learning of winning another honor for the Chelsea restaurant, Common said, “You never get tired of these things.”
Common Grill opened in 1991 and is celebrating its 21st year in business.
