Consider buying bird house, donating to Alumni Arbor Composting Project

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Shawn Sinacola for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea High School Alumni Arbor Composting Project has passed the half way mark of the $1,500 needed to build the composting bins for CHS Senior Mason P. Fecker’s Eagle Scout project.

If you are interested in helping fund the project, we are still selling birdhouses made by Bio Club students. They cost $30 to buy one to take.

We are charging $50 for a birdhouse that we would make and place in the Alumni Arbor for your graduating class (with your year on it), and our plan is to place them along the perimeter of the succession project.

If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself or for your class, or you are interested in donating money directly to fund the compost bins, send or drop off payment to “Chelsea High School” Attn: Shawn Sinacola, 740 N. Freer Road, Chelsea, MI 48118.
