Adults are asked to donate a minimum $15 per entrée, $10 for students with ID and $5 for younger kids. All net proceeds benefit at-risk youth in the Chelsea School District.

The menu includes:

3)      Heirloom Roasted Tomato Bread Pudding & rich scrambled Eggs.

There will also be a gluten free version while it lasts. Drinks include fresh Orange Juice, juiced at Zingerman’s Roadhouse, English Breakfast Tea from Harvard Square – Cambridge, MA, Zingerman’s Roadhouse Joe Coffee (Zingerman’s Coffee).

The eggs are from Homer, Michigan, the vegetables are from Cornman Farms in Dexter, cream and milk come from Calder Dairy. The tomatoes are from Cornman Farms, flour from Westwind Milling Company in Linden and the Salmon is cured and smoked at Cornman Farms. Crumpets are made with Michigan wheat bread at Zingerman’s Roadhouse.

This event is being underwritten by Klink & Associates/Jeff Klink, Dr. Jim Duncan/Chelsea Chiropractic, Cobra Aero, Zingerman’s/Cornman Farms, Surface Dynamics/USA, Moore Pediatrics & Associates, Mark & Pam Powell, Mack Ruffin & Kathy Carter, Anne Williams/CEO Excellence Quest, LLC, Torrance Learning, Larry & Stephanie Doll, and Rick Taylor/Reinhart Realtor.

Special thanks to Chris and Aubrey Martinson of the Chelsea Alehouse, who provide generous support by donating the use of their space.

“This breakfast helps raise awareness for Chelsea’s ‘hidden poverty’,” says Julie Porter, Chelsea High School senior and Yellow Door volunteer. “Everyone at school agrees this is important and has enthusiastically responded to helping kids in our school district. You get a great meal, eat with people in the community and support a great cause.”

The Alehouse is in the Clocktower Complex on North Main Street in downtown Chelsea.
