Feb. 8: 12th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza

The 12th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza is this Saturday, Feb. 8 starting at 10 a.m.

We hope you can join us for the festivities that include tons of shopping, perfect gifts, treats, refreshments, and cool things to do in all of the participating merchants stores. The following list provides a glimpse into what is happening – a complete list of participating merchants can be found at www.shopchelseamich.   

  • La Jolla Fine Jewelry’s pledge is to satisfy the hearts of our customers. La Jolla specializes in custom jewelry design. Stop in and sign up to win a chocolate diamond pendant!!
  • Special discounts on gifts for every Valentine, and a kids’ make-and-take Valentine bird feeder at the Garden Mill, featuring unique and hand-crafted artifacts to adorn your garden and home

  • The Common Grill, a fresh, imaginative American dishes restaurant providing outstanding service and will be featuring a world-class Chocolate Martini
  • Cleary’s Pub invites friends, family and even perfect strangers to gather together to enjoy a delicious locally sourced meal! Cleary’s Pub is featuring a warm Chocolate Turtle Brownie and Chocolate Martinis
  • Jet’s Pizza/Rumpus Room – build your own pizza! Try a cheesy, roasted veggie and buttery Detroit-style square pizza. Jet’s will be featuring a variety of chocolate/desert flavored beers and beer flights
  • Zou Zou’s restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Delicious soups, salads, sandwiches, hot & cold drinks, beer, wine, ice cream, baked goods made fresh daily

While you are out and about enjoying Chocolate Extravaganza in Chelsea, be sure to enter the drawings sponsored by #shopchelseamich merchants for one of two Gift Baskets loaded with local goods and treats. The baskets will be located at True North Jerky and Agricole Farm stop. The winners will be announced after 5 p.m. at the Garden Mill.

“The Mykala Mortgage Planning Home Domes” at Palmer Commons from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. These clear igloo domes are furnished and heated, and food will be donated by Thompsons Pizza. Due to an incredible response, both domes are fully reserved, but please stop by with family and friends at the hospitality tent at Palmer Commons for chocolate and goodies to warm you up during Chocolate Extravaganza. In lieu of Home Dome reservation fees, Mykala Mortgage Planning is requesting donations. All proceeds will go to Faith in Action to help with winter heating bills, and to support the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce. For more information go to https://www.mykalamortgage.com/home-dome

Agricole Farm Stop – Looking to unwind after Chocolate Extravaganza? The Artisans Market at the Chelsea Depot will take a hiatus this year, returning for the Chocolate Extravaganza in 2021 with unique wares and fine art.
