The Chelsea Football Future Bulldog Summer Camp is now open for registration.

Camp will take place June 16-20, from 9-11 a.m. for boys and girls currently in grades 3-5, and 1-3 p.m. for boys and girls currently in grades 6-7.

Cost for the 5-day camp is $85 and includes a T-shirt and 2014 Chelsea Bulldog football poster.

Now in its 17th year, the annual summer event will again be held at the Bulldog’s football stadium. The camp is run by CHS football coaches and current varsity players.

Students only need to wear shorts, a t-shirt and tennis shoes. The emphasis is on learning the fundamentals and having fun. There will be a daily “Air Force” football tournament (non-contact) with prizes.

Water stations will be set up but kids may bring their own drinks.

“This camp introduces younger kids to Chelsea Bulldog football,” says CHS Head Football Coach Brad Bush. “Kids get to interact with our varsity players and coaches while learning some of the fundamentals of football. It’s fun and safe, and also is a great benefit for our football program.”

Parents can sign up their child here.  They may also bring in their completed sign up form with payment to the Athletic Directors office at Chelsea High School, or mail forms and payment to: Chelsea Athletics Sports Camps 740 N. Freer Road, Chelsea, MI 48118.

For questions, please email coach Bush at [email protected] or call him at 368-7765.
