#shopchelseamich is comprised of a networked group of 35+ Chelsea merchants and restaurants that have participated in and promoted Wine, Women & Shopping, Chocolate Extravaganza, and Sidewalk Sales events over the years.
The next event on the group’s radar is this year’s Sidewalk Sales. The event begins Aug. 15, which is also the season finale for Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights, and runs through Aug. 17.
“We will not disappoint,” said Jennifer Fairfield, chairwoman of the event. “We are building on the strong Chelsea brand with local businesses offering unique products, services and experiences.”
Adding to this year’s Sidewalk Sales festivities and in collaboration with Chelsea’s Farmers Market, #shopchelseamich will be hosting their first annual “Fashion & Home Show” at Palmer Commons. The show begins at 11 a.m. Aug. 17.
A variety of participating businesses will be parading their wares. “We have more than you know, so please come out and enjoy the show.” said Stephanie Moran from Moran’s Consignments.
Chelsea Farmers Market Manager Emily Griswold wants you to “stop by because this is a perfect venue to connect eaters, with farmers, entrepreneurs, and business owners in our community.”
#shopchelseamich is a group of independent business owners with entrepreneurial flavor and spirit. Their focus is on keeping the community strong by providing reasons for people to shop in Chelsea with unique products and services.
