The 25th Annual Hometown Holiday has something for everyone during its three-day run.

Here’s a look at a sampling of the family-friendly things to do on Saturday, Dec. 1.

In case you missed Santa’s arrival on Friday night, Nov. 30, he’ll be at the Village Conference Center on Saturday morning, Dec. 1 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., where children and their families can enjoy a free breakfast with the man in red himself courtesy of Lake Trust Credit Union.

From there, you can head down the road to the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds for All The Trimming Artisans Holiday Show from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. where artists and crafters will sell their work inside the service building. Expected are woodcarvers, bears, counted cross stitch, pastels, tiles, folk art, jewelry, antiques and collectibles, rug hooking, punch needle, stained glass, photography, bread boards and fresh Christmas greens. (And free refreshments, admission and parking.)

The First United Methodist Church on Park Street, which will host two gingerbread house workshops the first from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and the second from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Families can decorate their own custom gingerbread house for free but they must call the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce office at 475-1145 for reservations because there are only about 100 houses available to be decorated.
