The Fourth Annual Howard S. Holmes II Charity Golf Invitational held at Travis Pointe County Club on July 15, raised more than $23,000 for the Junior League of Ann Arbor, Inc.

“We are grateful for the support of the sponsors and participants which made this event a success,” said Howard S. Holmes II, founder of the event in a press release. “The Junior League of Ann Arbor, Inc. provides wonderful resources to the community, which we are glad to support.”

The funds raised directly support the Junior League of Ann Arbor’s Healthy Living Initiatives, which provide local families access to nutritious, high-quality food and health education.

“Our initiatives include our ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ workshops and produce distribution events, which provide free, fresh produce to families throughout Washtenaw County along with nutrition education activities for their children,” said Natalie Hoffman, president of the Junior League of Ann Arbor, Inc.

The committee for the invitational would like to thank its generous sponsors including Tim and Laurie Wadhams, Underground Printing, John E. Green Company, Bank of Ann Arbor, Mr. James D. Buhr, RingSide Creative LLC and Chelsea Community Hospital and others without whom this event would not have been possible.
