Whether you are shopping for a chiropractor or just want to learn more about what they do, you’re invited to the grand opening of the newest chiropractic office in Chelsea, Proactive Chiropractic, on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 1-4 p.m.

Chiropractor Lisa Mesko opened the office a few weeks ago in the Clocktower Commons building, 350 N. Main St., Suite 210. Mesko says that her main goal is to help get patients get out of pain quickly and to educate them on how to stay out of pain long term.

“Anyone who’s ever had back pain knows it’s awful,” said Mesko. “It keeps you from the things you enjoy and makes everyday tasks unbearable.”

Mesko speaks from experience. She battled two herniated discs in her lower back a decade ago, and opened her practice to “pay it forward.”

“I’ve been there – lying on the floor and watching a movie sideways, popping aspirin so you can put on a happy face at a friend’s wedding, or even foregoing socks because that’s just too much work this morning,” said Mesko. “I became a chiropractor for one simple reason— to help people the way chiropractic helped me.”

Proactive Chiropractic is taking new patients. Its mantra is “short-term affordable care.” Proactive Chiropractic treats a variety of conditions affecting chronic pain patients such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, arthritis, numbness and more.
