A candlelight vigil is being planned Friday, July 12 at Pierce Park as part of the Lights for Liberty protests
against the treatment of migrant asylum-seekers taken into custody at the southern border.
As part of the Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps across the country, a group from the Chelsea community plans to paint The Rock at 7 p.m. have a program at 8:30 and light candles at 9 .m. when Lights for Liberty groups nationwide will be lighting their candles.
