(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bridget Favre for the information in this story and Burrill Strong for the photo.)

Now in its seventh week, Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, presented by Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chelsea, continues its free summer concert series Thursday, July 20 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Professional artists perform at 11 staged areas located throughout downtown Chelsea featuring music, dance, family entertainment and chalk drawing.

Local favorite, Blues Dog Inquisition perform at Katie’s Korner on the library lawn.  West Park Music Society returns to South Street with a mix of jazz and Latin music and at the East Alley stage, Mike Beno performs modern best hits.

New rock n’ roll group Naked Ace perform at East Middle Street and blues ensemble, The Blue Light Band, will be at West Middle Street, in the lot next to West Side Gym.  Bob Skon Trio showcase pop country at the Clocktower Gazebo, and singer-songwriter Ian Stewart Acoustic will be at the Chelsea Alehouse Brewery patio.

Fun for the whole family continues with tap dancing duo 2×4 at the Glazier building, Eric the Juggler at the Clocktower Courtyard and 3 Generations Balloons for the kids at Main Street Alley.

Chelsea Chalk Art, beneath the Chelsea Clocktower on Main Street, provides chalk and drawing examples for all ages and levels of expertise.  The theme this week is “Family Pets and The Secret Life of Pets”.

After Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, SRSLY Cinema presents free outdoor movies at dusk. This week SRSLY presents Trolls (PG).
