Dear Chelsea:
On Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2013, the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Chelsea Public Library hosted an Open Candidate Forum for the citizens of our community to hear firsthand how their current City Council members and the those seeking election to council intend to foster a positive business environment to see Chelsea sustainably prosper.
I would like to take a moment to thank the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, the Chelsea Public Library, and the candidates for office who were able to participate.
But the real thanks go to all of the citizens of Chelsea who chose to participate in the event.
In addition to the prepared questions from the chamber, we, as candidates, were able to answer questions brought forward by the audience. This was truly a learning experience for me and allowed me to better understand some of what is important to Chelsea. As we move closer to elections, I look forward to hearing more from those who have entrusted the City Council to act on their behalf.
