There was, indeed, a live local turkey outside the Chelsea District Library Tuesday evening.
The bird’s arrival was thanks to Kevin Doll and his son, Nick, of Back Forty Acres of Sylvan Township.
And, after the families met the turkey outside, they headed inside for storytime.
