Here’s the latest information on M-52 construction in Chelsea.

Please note that the scheduled paving and ramp closures have been shifted by one full week.

Miscellaneous work continues on driveways and sidewalks along M-52 and all three lanes are open from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. So, there’s one southbound, one northbound and a center turn lane operational during the day.

Between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., traffic continues to be reduced to one lane in each direction on an intermittent basis on the west side of M-52.

On Monday, Oct. 29, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., southbound M-52 traffic will be detoured between I-94 and Old US-12 for final paving of the southbound and left turn lanes on M-52.

On Wednesday, Oct. 31, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 off-ramp to M-52 for final paving on the ramp.

On Thursday, Nov. 1, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 on-ramp from M-52 for final paving on the ramp.
