Mark your calendars for two January Chelsea chamber events

(Publisher’s note: Chelsea Update would like to thank the staff at the Chelsea Area Chamber (Bob, Patti and Susan) for all the help that they’ve provided to me since the relaunch of this site. The chamber has truly been an invaluable resource for me and could be for your business, too.)

If you aren’t a member of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, you are missing out on two cool January events that could help your business. So, please renew your membership or join as a new member today.

Here are the two upcoming events to place on your calendar.

*On Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 7:30-9 a.m., a business breakfast hosted by Thompson’s Pizzeria at 20700 W. Old U.S. 12, across from the fairgrounds. Check out Thompson’s Facebook page here.

There will be formal networking, so bring your business cards and a delicious buffet breakfast by Lynda Collins. Members pay $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Non-members pay $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Members are encouraged to invite a friend or associate who may be interested in joining the chamber.

*On Thursday, Jan. 31 from 5 – 7 p.m., there will be a business after hours event hosted by Great Lakes Zoological Society Reptile Zoo at 6885 Jackson Road in Scio Township. Check out the Facebook page here or call 734-332-1628 for more information.

This free event is open to chamber members, and their young families or grandchildren. Refreshments will be served.

RSVP for either or both of these events by calling the chamber at 734-475-1145 or by emailing [email protected].
