Oct. 9: Hear the Chelsea City Council candidates’ views on the issues during forum

(Publisher’s note: There is also a meet and greet for the candidates in the library at 6:30 p.m. before the forum begins.)

The nine candidates running for Chelsea City Council in the Nov. 5 election are expected to take part in the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce candidate’s forum on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 7-9 p.m. at the Chelsea District Library.

Everyone is welcome to hear the candidates give their views on the issues.

Each candidate will have a chance to answer questions asked by a moderator as well as respond to questions from those attending.

Running for mayor is Jason Lindauer.

Running for the three 4-year seats are: Cheri Albertson, Melissa Johnson, Jim Myles, Marcia White Parker, and Dustin Suntheimer.

Running for the two, 2-year seats are: Frank Hammer, Susan J. Moore and Jane Pacheco.
