Although Saturday, Aug. 26 is the last day of the 80th Annual Chelsea Community Fair, it’s also one of the most fun because it’s Chelsea Fair Parade Day, beginning at 1 p.m. and Sweepstakes Showmanship at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Arena.
There is a compact tractor pull at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Arena and the horse show begins at 9 a.m. Rides open at 1 p.m.
Daily admission to the fair is $8. Children under 10 are free. Parking is free but rides are an additional fee.
Rides begin at 3 p.m. and the K of C Bingo tent opens at 3 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
There will be music in the music tent, all kinds of businesses and non-profit booths in the merchant barn and the Natures Creation of Life barn.
There is both a diesel truck pull at 7 p.m. in the Main Arena and at 7:30 p.m., there is a 4-wheel and 2-wheel drive pulling and diesel pulling contest.
