Publisher’s Message: Thank You for the 10th Anniversary Well Wishes

When he’s not assisting with the operations of Chelsea Update, Buzz is strutting his stuff as a Rally Obedience dog. He recently attained his RM6 title. The Rally Master 6 title means he’s qualified on the highest level of the dog sport 60 times.

With all the planning and stories for Chelsea Community Fair underway, I’m late thanking everyone for their well wishes on Chelsea Update’s 10th anniversary on July 23 and to thank you for your donations in July.

I’m honored that this community continues to rely on this little daily news site for your local news . To say it’s been a lot of work is quite the understatement, but the kind words and kudos from you make it all worthwhile and push me forward.

That said, my favorite time of year is almost upon us – fair. From the horse show to the tractor pulls and derbies, the livestock shows and auction, to the crowning of the 2022 Chelsea Fair Queen and of course, the parade … this annual community event has it all.

Chelsea Update will continue to be your source of all things fair.

I’d like to thank the following people (below) who supported Chelsea Update in July by making non tax-deductable donations. It’s easy to do should you chose to contribute to my efforts and to show your appreciation of Chelsea Update.

There’s a donation button on the home page of Chelsea Update or you can send a check in any amount made out to Chelsea Update, and mail it to 18829 Bush Road, Chelsea, MI 48118. Reader support is so, so appreciated and assists with the ongoing operations of your daily Chelsea-centric news site.
