Mary Leona Russell Minion Caldwell of Chelsea, age 95, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at the Silver Maples Retirement Community in Chelsea.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1918 in Tallman, MI, the daughter of Clarence and Iva (Silcox) Russell.
She had lived in the area since 1998, coming from Pittsfield Township, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ypsilanti since 1945 where she also sang in the choir.
Marilyn Jo Lewis of Chelsea, age 77, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at her home.
She was born on June 22, 1936 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Howard L. and Bertha M. (Tregoning) Reasner.
She graduated from Fenton High School in 1954 and received her certification in Rural Education in 1956 from Western Michigan College. On June 30, 1956, she married Thomas Coggins Lewis in Grand Blanc, MI, and he survives.
