Recent Obituary: John ‘Jack’ Raymond Kehoe

John “Jack” Raymond Kehoe

Age 90, formerly of Chelsea, MI, Jack passed away at his residence at Tiger Lily Estates in Cartersville, GA on Thursday, September 7, 2023, which was the day of his 90th birthday. 

He was born in Albany, NY, the firstborn child of the late John Atkins Kehoe and Rosina Marie Altschaeffl Kehoe.

Due primarily to his years in sales and sales management, Jack lived in 8 different states throughout the years: Albany and Syracuse, NY; Waltham, MA; Columbus, GA; Indianapolis, IN; St. Clair, MI; Charlotte, NC; Cuyahoga Falls and Toledo, OH; Libertyville, IL; and moved back to MI to retire in Chelsea, MI.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Ann Finkbeiner Kehoe, second wife, Barbara Jean Bather Kehoe, Robert C. Kehoe (brother), Mary Agnes Kehoe (sister), and John “Jack” Carl Kehoe (son).

Jack and all of his siblings were educated in St. John the Baptist Catholic High School just down the street from their home in Syracuse, NY, and Jack graduated in 1951. He then attended LeMoyne College in Syracuse and attained the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1955. 

Jack and Carol Finkbeiner were married in December, 1956. He enlisted with the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Benning, GA from 1956-1958 before returning to Syracuse. 

There will be a Catholic Funeral Mass held in Jack’s honor at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 850 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, GA 30120 on Friday, Sept 22nd, at 11:00 am, and he will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery for veterans in Canton, GA.
