Milton Rabbitt of Dexter Township, age 91, passed away on Aug. 17, 2015 at his home.
He was born March 8, 1924 in Providence, Rhode Island the son of Manuel (Virginia) Rabbitt.
Milton attended Brown University, completing his undergraduate degree in Engineering in two years due to World War II. He proudly served in the United States Navy as an Ensign on the USS Little Rock (CL-92), a Cleveland-Class Light Cruiser.
Commissioned in mid-1945, he was aboard the Little Rock’s initial assignment- to patrol the entire continent of South America. Upon returning, Milton obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University.
