Each Sunday at 2 p.m. through Labor Day, there’s a fun, free family event taking place at the Pinckney Recreation Area at the Silver Lake fishing pier.
Participants under 17 years old do not need a fishing license, however, a Recreation Passport is required for park entry and there’s no pre-registration required.
Hook, line and sinker teaches casting and fishing basics you’ll be provided a rod and reel.
