The Saline-Chelsea Ski Team took to the slopes again on Jan. 17 for a giant slalom race at Mt Brighton.

After a timing delay, the girls again performed very well, taking 4th place of the 10 teams competing. The girls in scoring position were Nikki Dillmann (junior from Saline) in 5th place, Katie McInnis (senior from Chelsea) in 12th, Ally Dillmann (senior from Saline) in 29th and Elizabeth Johnson (junior from Saline) in 32nd.

Also racing in the varsity lineup were Sydney Collins (junior from Chelsea) and Emily Hornberger (freshman from Saline).

Racing for the girls JV squad were Janna Jacobson (junior from Saline) and Grace Yoders (freshman from Saline).

The boys squad was not able to get a team score due to 2 disqualifications at the finish line.

Caden Faupel (sophomore from Chelsea) skied well, placing 17th overall. Mason Kipley (freshman from Saline) also finished for the boys, in 50th place.
