Transition Town Chelsea is offering a tour of area homes utilizing a variety of renewable and passive energy technologies on today, Oct. 5, in connection with the ASES National Solar Home Tour.
This self-paced program is free to everyone.
Just stop by the Chelsea District Library to get started with a map of the sites on the tour. Then go visit each home at your convenience between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
See how people use solar, wind, and geothermal in a variety of applications for their homes. Also learn about an opportunity to get involved in solar power locally without having to buy an entire system of your own.
