White Ribbon Initiative honoring “Healthcare Heroes”

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lisa French for the information in this story.)

Show your appreciation of our Healthcare Heroes by displaying a white ribbon outside your home or place a white ribbon image in your front window.

At UMRC and Porter Hills, direct care team members are there to provide care and comfort for the older adults they serve.

Especially now, during the COVID-19 pandemic, these “Healthcare Heroes” are doing everything in their power to keep residents safe and healthy.

These include the caregivers, dining services, housekeeping, and environmental services team members.

A white ribbon image is included in this story for you to print and carefully cut out to display in your window.

Or create your own white ribbon image if you don’t have access to a printer.

Please share this image with family and friends to show your support and admiration for all caregivers and first responders for their heroic efforts.

  1. Hi Lisa! I’ve been enjoying your stories while working from home! Really appreciate all the work you put into this ‘paper’. Keep it up!

I will be making these ribbons and posting them. We pray for the health workers every day. Just can’t imagine all they are going through. God bless them!

Stay home, stay safe, and stay healthy. Wishing you all the best!!!

    • Thank you so much, Lucy. I’m doing all I can to keep readers abreast of the important information while adding in something uplifting or funny as well.
