Larceny from automobiles reported in Lima Township’s Thornton Farms

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office sent an alert Tuesday evening, March 7 that they are investigating two larceny from automobiles that occurred in the Thornton Farms Subdivision. The incidents occurred between March 5 at 8 p.m. and March 7 at 8 a.m.

According to the alert, “although it is suspected the incidents occurred during the hours of darkness, entry was gained by opening an unlocked car door.” Miscellaneous change was taken, and there are no suspects.

The incident remains under investigation by area deputies.
