Nov. 28: Chelsea Football Ford Field send off and game day information

Bulldog-logoThe Chelsea Community plans to line Main Street to send the varsity football team off to Ford Field for its state championship game on Saturday, Nov. 28.

The buses will be leaving the high school at 4:20 p.m. and going down Main Street, starting at Middle and folks are encouraged to be there by 4 p.m.

If you plan to go to the 7:30 p.m. game, tickets are $10 and are available at the gate.

Public parking in lots controlled by Ford Field in the vicinity of the stadium is $6.  Some individual vendors, including Olympia lots, may charge more.

By Detroit ordinance, tailgating is prohibited in public parking lots.

Fans entering the stadium for their contest are asked to sit in the end zones while waiting for the contest taking place at that time to conclude, and then to only move towards the middle of the seating area once fans for the game in progress have vacated the area following the awards ceremony.

Games will be televised on FOX Sports Detroit.
