The Chelsea community will never forget two fallen heroes

On April 13, 2006, the lives of two families, many friends, the Chelsea Police Department and the Chelsea Area Fire Authority changed forever.

Yesterday marked 10 years since the tragic deaths of Chelsea Police Chief Scott Sumner, 42, and Fire Capt. Matt Tuttle, 28, in a helicopter crash.

The community shall never forget these young, brave men and all of us send our thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of these men who chose to spend their lives protecting and serving the folks in the Chelsea community.
