Recent obituary: Andrea Lee Hicks

Hicks,-Andrea-webAndrea Lee (Medina) Hicks, of Henrietta Twp., Michigan, age 33, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, due to an automobile accident.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1981, in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Andrew “Glen” Medina and Kathy Lee (Hoover).  On Oct. 19, 2012, she married William Lee Hicks Jr. in Jackson and he survives.

Andrea had lived in the area since she was 10 years old, coming from Florida, and attended Jeruel Baptist Church and Heeney Road Baptist Church.  One of her proudest achievements was earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Eastern Michigan University in 2013. She enjoyed lake life, fishing, hanging out with friends, shopping, and she loved her cat Achilles.
