Alzheimer’s Association seeking volunteers to plan this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lisa Vickers for the information in this story.)

The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for dedicated people in the Chelsea area to lead the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

Our chapter is hosting its second annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sept. 27, which begins at  the Clocktower Building in downtown Chelsea.

We are looking for volunteers to join the Walk Planning Committee to help with recruiting teams, soliciting sponsors, marketing, and planning the day of event.  If you have a specific talent, want to learn new skills, or just want to help end this devastating disease, please attend the next committee meeting on Wednesday, March 19 at noon at Chelsea Retirement Community.

You can also help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research by starting your own Walk team at alz.org/mglc.

If you have any questions, please contact Erica Outhwaite at [email protected] or 800-272-3900.
