April 15: Transition Town Chelsea to hear presentation about environmental justice

On Monday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m., Transition Town Chelsea will hear a presentation about environmental justice from two guests from Flint at the Washington Street Educational Center, 512 E. Washington St. Room 112.

Co-presenters Lisa Pabsjerg and Mona Munroe-Younis will give a free talk about Environmental Justice.  Both are active in the Environmental Transformation Movement of Flint.

Visitors will hear how they apply the concepts of environmental justice to Flint and beyond and share the experience that they have gained through their activism work.

The potluck meal begins at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 7:15. If you plan to come to the potluck meal, please bring a dish to pass and your own place settings.

Many thanks to the Chelsea Senior Center for providing us meeting space in the evenings.
