8^th Grade Blue Football

The 8th Grade Blue Football team played its best game of the year so far but in the end lost to Monroe, 36-20.

The Bulldogs were tied at 14-14 at the half and trailed by one score with 5 minutes remaining before Monroe pulled away.

The Dawgs picked up three fumble recoveries on defense by Patrick Bertoni, Hunter Adams and Max Andrews. The leading tacklers were James Mida and JJ Hirst.  Offensively, Braden Steele threw three touchdown passes; one each to Patrick Bertoni, Riley Lukumski and Alex Sanborn. Gus Reynolds was the leading rusher.  Great job boys, keep getting better.

8^th Grade Gold Football

The 8^th Grade Gold Football team traveled to Monroe and took on a tough team. We were much improved on defense. Logan Mahalak and Jared Hansen both played well at new positions while Ethan Corkin-Howell held his own on the line. Offensively, Thomas Steele ran for over 100 yards including a 65-yard touchdown.
