Beach Middle School Volleyball Recap

7th Grade Gold
7th grade Gold won all three matches against Lincoln last night.

Gianna Barney led serving again with multiple aces in the first game and 12 serves in a row in the second game.

Way to go to Ella Gietzen and Mary Heiss for their serves in the third game.

Vivian Parker also had multiple plays at the net to help the team take a win.

8th Grade Blue
Chelsea 8th grade blue volleyball traveled to Adrian.

The team did not bring home the win, 25-21, 18-25, 22-25

The team played well learning new rotations and positions.

7th Grade Blue
The 7th grade blue Bulldogs traveled to Adrian Monday and showed improved serving and passing skills this week.

Consistent servers this match include: Melina King with 13, Brooke Bariage and Madi Wheeler with 8, and Anna Mosher with 5.

The Dawgs battled hard during set one but lost 25-23 and they also suffered another loss for set two, 25-13.

During set three, they found their rhythm and won their first set this season, 25-12.

This team will continue to improve in the games as they work on skills in practice and communication on the court.

The 7Blue team will have its first home game Thursday at 4:15 pm at the WSEC gym.

8th Grade Gold
8th grade Gold volleyball won the first set but dropped the next two sets to Lincoln last night.

Highlights included good serving by Kiley Ellis, Camila Hurst and Delanie Monica.

Ceci DeLong had some nice tips and hits at the net. T

he team plays at Saline next on Thursday.
