At the middle school SEC Jamboree #2 held at Hudson-Mills Metropark, the Beach Middle School boys’ and girls’ teams continue to improve with many on the team running faster than they did at the previous meet.
The boys “varsity” placed 5th out of 8 teams, while the girls “varsity” placed 4th out of 9 teams.
In the girls’ reserve race, Chelsea placed 5th out of 7 teams. Tessa Avery and Ella Monsma each dropped 2 to 2 and a half minutes on their personal records.
Gabe Muckel dropped a minute from his previous race, while Jackie Dell dropped about 30 seconds from his best time.
The Chelsea Invitational will be held at Hudson-Mills Metropark is this Saturday.
