Beware of dangerous pick-up truck driver in Lima Township

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bill and Roben Coury for the information in this story.)

Residents should be aware of a property damage incident that happened on April 8 at about 5 p.m. in the area of South Lima Center Road, about a half-mile south of Jerusalem Road in Lima Township.

Three young white males driving a medium to dark blue Chevy 4-wheel drive pickup with a lift kit in it were driving at high rates of speed, going off-road and damaging property.

The driver had blonde hair, but there is no description of the two passengers. Plus, the license plate had been removed from the vehicle.

When a homeowner tried to investigate and follow them, the driver took off driving very fast going north on Lima Center Road to Jerusalem Road and turned west. The homeowner saw them pass Haist Road but stopped following them for safety reasons.

Please be on the look-out for this vehicle and possibly others and remember to get as much information as possible.

Or, try to get a photo of the vehicle if it is safe to do so and call 911.
