Calling all artists: Learn to improve the biz side of your creative skills

Are you an artist with a New Year’s resolution to improve the business end of your creative skills?

Then Sandra Xenakis can help you.

She will resume her business skills for artists classes at the Chelsea District Library in January. They are free, one-hour coaching sessions, which will take place Jan. 18 and Feb. 15 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and at noon.

“My program, ‘Art Meets Business,’ assists highly motivated creative entrepreneurs with marketing, technology, and business skills,” Xenakis says, adding “This coaching is designed to help participants set and achieve goals, improve their marketing, build their customer base, and much more.”

Xenakis works with visual, performing and literary artists, including painters, sculptors, fiber artists, writers, photographers, graphic designers, musicians, and “other creative types.”

Those interested should call the library now at 475-8732, ext. 219 to schedule a one-hour coaching session.
